When you performed your search what was the most important attribute you were seeking in a program?
I was looking for a program that would meet my individual needs at a reasonable price. I found both at NSC.
Was the staff helpful in answering all of your questions in a timely manner?
The staff was extremely helpful in answering my questions both prior to coming here, as well as anytime I had questions while in China.
Why did you choose NSC?
Since I was only going to be in China for 2 months, I had to have a program that was individually tailored to my specific needs, one-on-one instructions and in comfortable surroundings (I didn’t want to be in a dorm), I had several topics of focus that I wanted to concentrate on while I was here, and in discussions with NSC personnel, they were willing to customize a program to meet my specific requirements.
How do you feel about NSC’s accommodations?
Accommodations were very nice. It was very easy to come back home from classes or have classes in the apartment, and when wanted to either study or relax, it was very easy to do in the comfort of the apartment.
How do you feel about NSC’s service?
The service NSC provided was excellent. From picking me up at the airport, to taking care of the Chinese government paper works, to providing a cell phone, transportation, and local orientation etc. Because of NSC doing all this, I could focus on my Chinese studies.
If there anything NSC should do to improve its service in any way?
I can’t think of anything of a general nature-you do such a good job of keeping people informed. The only thing I had problem with was the phone (probably because I am old fart).
Was there a time where NSC’s service impressed you? If so, please say a story.:)
You impressed me every day, so extraordinary service became almost commonplace. What impressed me the most was how helpful and willing my teachers were to help me with the subject I wanted to study. The other thing that impressed me was how much you made everyone feel like family. This didn’t relate directly to me but I was especially impressed with how quickly you handled those with medical problems.
Did NSC meet or exceed your expectations?
Definitely exceeded my expectations. Both in the level of language instruction and in service provided.
Would you recommend NSC and our programs?
Yes, definitely. If anyone I know is looking for a program, yours is the only one I will recommend.
What suggestions do you have for us to improve?
I can’t think of any way your organization can improve. What I might suggest is that implore those who are coming here, especially in they are going to do one-on-one, to develop their own subject they want to cover. If they know their own goals and objectives, I think they will get more out of your wonderful programs.
You may also want to emphasize that the price difference between taking classes with 5-10 people and your one-on-one program is not that much different. But the benefit of one-on-one instruction far exceed the price differential.
