My name is Sarah Elena Parejo, and I am a Student at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija

Why did you want to Study Chinese in China?

I wanted to study Chinese in China because everyone knows that knowing Mandarin would be a great
advantage in the future, and where else would you learn Mandarin but China?

Why did you want to study Chinese now?

I decided doing it now would be best because once I graduate from College I would like to start
working right away, so I figured I wouldn’t have the time to do what I did this year.

How did you begin your search to find a language program?
I started searching the Web and i was always coming back to Next Step China, it looked the
most organized and reliable and I was told by the Chinese Consulate that it was indeed a good program.

Why did you Choose NSC?

To be honest I had no Idea what I was going to expect in China, and NSC made it seem like I didn’t have to
worry about anything, that they would take complete care of me, if needed, and thats exactly what they did.

What have you gained during your stay in China?

Not only have I gained a new language, but an amazing experience, friends that i will never forget, and
whole new view on the world and differences in cultures.

How did you feel about NSC’s accommodations?

When I walked into my apartment I was so surprised, it was nicer than my dad’s home back in Texas. Me and
my roommates loved it since the moment we walked in. Everything was in such good shape the rooms
were huge its just what I needed maybe a bit more that I expected.

How did you feel about NSC’s tutoring program?

I learned more in my tutoring sessions than I learned in class, the tutors are amazing. Xu Ran was extremely
patien. I had a great time going out with them or having lunch with them, they’re very friendly.

How do you feel about NSC’s service?

Every time I dialed NSC’s staff they would be at my service right away, even for the smallest things.
To be honest, you couldn’t ask for anything more.

Did NSC meet or exceed your expectations?

NSC definitely exceeded my expectations, I’ve heard a lot of stories from these type of language
programs, and mines definitely been the best.

Would you recommend the program?

I would recommend the program to anyone, it was the best 4 months of my life.
