My name is Ginny. I’m a Financial Analyst.

Why did you want to Study Chinese in China?

It’s not a secret China’s one of the fastest growing developing countries out there with a supersize economy that has an ever increasing affect on the way we do business so I figured it wasn’t a bad idea to learn the language. Curiosity was also a huge factor!

Why did you want to study Chinese now?

It’s not an easy language to learn! I was disappointed that I didn’t start sooner!

How did you begin your search to find a language program?

Google. Picked a few companies and contacted them all.

Why did you Choose NSC?

NSC did the best job making themselves available to me. They succeeded at addressing the concerns that I had at all times. They’re extremely efficient and delivered what they promised. I appreciated that.

Why did you choose a University Student program?

The best way to motivate yourself is to put yourself in an environment where you have a bunch of people moving in the same direction. The support and some competition helps! The University program created that environment for me.

What have you gained during your stay in China?

The gains are hard to quantify but I’ll summarize it by saying, I did learn how to be functional in a second language to the point where I was able to work in a Chinese company for almost a year and maintain great relationships with the locals. I also was able to finally hold conversations with my Chinese relatives with whom I wasn’t able to in the past.

How did you feel about NSC’s accommodations?

It was clean, modern, and spacious! I loved it.

How did you feel about NSC’s tutoring?
When learning a language, conversation is key. In a classroom, the amount of time to do that is limited. With a tutor, you get to converse with someone that can guide you and address your weaknesses one on one. It’s a tailor made service.

How do you feel about NSC’s service?

I give them a 10 out of 10. They were great!
