Next Step China was and is the perfect pick for taking that next step in my life in experiencing an entirely new culture and lifestyle. For years, I have been wanting to be a part of an internship program across the globe, that would allow me to interact with people from all over the world.

I wanted a hands on experience with a professional environment that was far, far away from my comfort zone. I knew that going to China would be the next step. Both an educational and internship-oriented service, Next Step China connected me and set me up with the right type of internship that geared to my career interests.

As a young university student, Next Step China was able to set me up accordingly by providing me with the necessary ‘gear’ to survive, learn, and work in China. Moreover, Next Step China informed me of local networking events that eventually led me to broadening my connections onto an international level. In addition, I decided to participate in NSC’s intensive tutoring program, which allowed me to acquire the language a lot quicker than solely taking a Mandarin university course.

Before I knew it, I found myself ordering food, reading characters, and having casual conversations with fellow co-workers and locals. I am very fortunate to have chosen Next Step China as my international guardian, and I am pretty sure I will return to China very soon!
