Passport

Passport

You must have a current passport with at least six months remaining before expiration to enter China. In most cases, you should renew your passport before coming to China. You can apply for a passport at most post offices within the U.S. While in China, you are required by law to have your passport with you at all times. It’s also a good idea to have at least one photocopy of your passport and other important documents kept someplace safe, just in case your passport is ever lost while you’re abroad. While a photocopy will not serve as an acceptable substitute, it can help you get another passport should the need arise.
