| While your goal is to become successful in China our goal is to make sure you have the proper language competency. We do this by providing effective and interactive lesson plans so you can immerse yourself in the environment comfortably. In order to do this, our tutors use a personalized approach depending on the different language backgrounds and aptitudes of the participants.
Chinese language sessions are an average of 4 hours a day of intensive Chinese given that this program is for those who are focused on learning how to communicate in a business environment using the Chinese language and learning more about the Chinese business culture. Given that there may be meetings or interviews during the stay of the participant, the schedule for tutoring are very flexible. |

Selection Process
In selecting our tutors, we make sure that our tutors they have an extensive experience in teaching Chinese as a second language. They are also either graduates of education (major in teaching Chinese as a second language to foreigners) or are former Chinese teachers in prestigious Universities such as Beijing Language and Culture University. Some of our tutors have also taught Chinese in other countries so they are educated in an international culture and environment.
Why have a Tutor?
Next Step China understands that not everyone is fortunate enough to have more than three months to spare for studying Chinese in China. We therefore believe that the Accelerated Tutoring Program and the Specialized Programs have an added-value because of the time you save in learning Chinese.
In fact, all of Next Step China participants who went through the University Programs have expressed their appreciation for their tutors namely because they felt that they’ve learned more in an hour of tutoring compared to two or four hours of classes in the University.
Next Step China highly encourages all participants to get the very most from their University Student Programs by supplementing their group lessons with after-class Tutoring. Tutors are an essential part of learning Mandarin fast and effectively. Next Step China’s tutors will not only help you with questions you may have from class homework, they will also cover other lessons which are essential to daily life in China. These topics would not normally be covered in class.
We pride ourselves on our strong network of highly trained tutors to help those who are serious about learning and improving their mandarin. We carefully choose the best tutors and provide a higher remuneration than anyone else in the industry in order to secure the highest quality of tutors for our programs. Our emphasis is on giving you the best education possible to maximize your learning experience with us. |
