Tutorial Sessions (after school) This optional feature of the program is for students who want to reinforce the lessons that were taught throughout the day’s class lesson. Usually a tutor will go over the lesson, help you with your homework or show you additional strategies. We take pride in the selection of the tutors we have. We have a tough selection process and hire only the best tutors, which in turn makes our programs so successful. We thoroughly interview all our tutors, who then follow our tutoring guide to make sure you get the best possible value from your tutoring sessions. Prices are dependant upon the number of hours booked per week. |

Master Bedroom Next Step China has the option to allow program participants to upgrade their accommodations to a Master Bedroom. The benefits of a Master Bedroom include having a larger bedroom and your own bathroom. These are for participants who want to have more privacy during their stay in China. Please keep in mind that this option is available on a limited basis. Your chance of getting a master bedroom is better if you reserve earlier with Next Step China. |

Supplementary Study Materials Supplementary Study Materials are available for those who want study aids to help improve their mandarin. They may include Mandarin DVD’s and/or CD’s, Flash cards, additional books or guides, white board with markers, etc. Electronic Dictionary Many students who enter the program regret not purchasing this from the very beginning of their program. We highly recommend that students use as many useful tools as possible to improve their mandarin. This dictionary, which is mainly a translator, also allows the user to write characters on the screen to help define certain characters. It also includes an MP3 slot for the ability to listen to your class lectures or music. A definite must for those who are serious about studying mandarin! |
