ACCIDENTAL DEATH
PERMANENT DISABILITY

We will pay for:

(B6.1) Your Permanent disability if You are Injured and within 12 months as a result of that Injury You become Permanently disabled, meaning You have completely lost:
(a) the sight in one or both eyes; or
(b) the use of a hand or foot at or above the wrist or ankle which, in Our medical opinion, will continue indefinitely.
(B6.2) The most We will pay for Your death if You are Injured and You die within 12 months of that Injury is:
(a) $5,000/€4,350/£2,900 if You are aged 017 when the Injury occurs;
(b) $5,450/€4,800/£3,200 if You are aged 1820 when the Injury occurs; or
(c) $16,000/€14,000/£9,500 if You are aged 21+ when the Injury occurs.

Compensation under this section is payable to You, Your estate or persons nominated by You.
Limits: All plans $16,000/€14,000/£9,500

We will not pay for any claim which directly or indirectly arises from or is caused by:

(E6.1) Any type of Illness, disease, infection or contagion, even if contracted through an Injury.

Section 7
PERSONAL LIABILITY

Conditions:

(C7.1) You must not admit liability or fault to any party without Our written Pre approval.

We will pay for:

(B7.1) Any sums which You are legally liable to pay, including legal expenses, as a result of Your negligence during Your Period of Insurance within Your Country of Study causing:
(a) death of or bodily Injury to another person; or
(b) damage to property not owned by You.
Limits: All plans to Annual Maximum

We will not pay claims arising directly or indirectly from:

(E7.1) The theft of, loss of or damage to any property which belongs to, or is under the care or control of You, Your Relative, Your travelling companion or Your host family.
(E7.2) Bodily Injury (including death or Illness) to You, Your Relative, Your travelling companion, Your travelling companion’s Relative, or an employee of either You, Your Relative or Your travelling companion.
(E7.3) The ownership, custody or use of any aerial device, watercraft or mechanically propelled vehicle.
(E7.4) The conduct of a business, profession or trade or out of professional advice You have provided.
(E7.5) Any unlawful, malicious, intentional, criminal or illegal act by You, Your Relative, Your travelling companion, an employee of either You, Your Relative or Your travelling companion, a member of Your touring party or educational facility, or for any fine, penalty or similar damages.
(E7.6) Any Workers’ Compensation Legislation, industrial award or agreement, or Accident Compensation Legislation.
(E7.7) Any event that occurs outside the legal jurisdiction of Your Country of Study.
(E7.8) Aggravated, exemplary or punitive damages.
(E7.9) The transmission of any communicable disease by You or any other person.
(E7.10) Participation in any Hazardous sport.
