After you have decided which internship(s) you would like to apply for (you may apply to as many as three internship choices), go to APPLY NOW, fill in the required and additional information needed and submit your application. Next Step China will contact you to confirm receipt of your application.

After receipt of your application please send us the following supporting documents to:Intern@NextStepChina.orgfor your internship:

1. Copy of passport

2. Copy of latest diploma

3. Copy of latest transcript

4. Your CV or resume (Word Document format)

5. Two scanned letters of recommendation from your supervisor or university professor.

6. Cover Letter as to why you should be chosen for the internship you applied for

Once we have received and verified all of the documents Next Step China will schedule and interview with you. After the interview you will receive a notice from Next Step China within 2 days after the interview if you have been accepted into the program.

Once you have been accepted into the internship program you must submit a deposit of $250 USD which will go towards the balance of the program fee. The deposit is refundable if we are not able to provide a placement in the industry of your choice. The deposit is NOT refundable if we provide an internship placement of your industry choice and you have declined.

Next Step China will coordinate your placement with the industries you applied for in your application and then confirm the acceptance of your internship. Once this acceptance has been made you will be required to pay the balance due of your internship program one month before your arrival date.

Before your program start date Next Step China will send you pre-travel guides and other resources for your trip. Relax! One of our Next Step China staff members will greet you at the airport when you arrive to China.<
