I would not only recommend, I would say to anyone who has their kids going for this fantastic experience, that despite how much you believe they will get along by themselves, go with NSC, it is the best insurance for your kid and yourself, it will make your time in China so much easier and enjoyable.

NSC arranged for everything–the school, an apartment, pick up and drop off at the airport and other things that a young person who was never in China could not possibly do without a lot of headaches. NSC was incredibly flexible. If we needed to change a day of a trip, they accommodated my son. At the last moment, he (son) considered staying an extra 4 weeks and his program was put together in the span of 1 day.

Exceeded! NSC has thought long and hard about what they need to offer to stand out as the right choice. I also believe that since the NSC staff are still working so hard to build their company, they probably offer more bang for the buck. My husband and I continue to view NSC as an exceptional value.

Service is great! My daughter still counts on the staff of NSC with any concerns she has and I can always count on them to keep an open line of communication with me.

I just think the overall package from being able to email in the beginning and get response immediately or even a phone call with quick response. I think as a parent you need to know that there is somebody always at the other end willing to take your concerns. I would say the impressive part about it is the homework that Next Step China has done to make it a smooth transition for teens and parents.

I wrote to your staff about several things that I needed to know and she came back to me almost right away, every time. And she told me that if I had more questions to feel free to ask. So I kept writing to her and she kept responding very quickly. That’s excellent and that makes me feel good because I know that my son is going to a place where people care.

I think learning a language should start when you are still young and my girls have been studying since 1st grade. Now, she is in high school, and she has her personal project on developing Chinese, which is a good time for her to join the high school program with Next Step.
